Yard Waste Removal in Palm Beach County
Palm fronds piling up along the fence line. A mountain of hedge trimmings from last weekend’s project. The tree your landscaper took down but left in pieces across the yard. Yard waste adds up fast in South Florida — everything grows year-round, and the stuff your regular trash service won’t take just sits there. We load it, haul it, and dispose of it properly so your property is clean again.
After a storm? We also provide hurricane and storm debris removal with 24/7 emergency availability during active storm seasons.
Yard Waste We Haul Away
If it grew in your yard and now it needs to leave your yard, we take it. Here’s what we handle most often across Palm Beach County.
Palm Fronds & Tropical Debris
Royal palms, coconut palms, sabal palms, queen palms — they all drop fronds constantly, and each one is 6–12 feet long. Add in coconuts, seed pods, palm boots, and dead frond skirts, and a single palm tree can generate a pile that fills half a driveway. Most curbside trash services limit the size and number of bundles they’ll accept. We load the entire pile into the trailer in one trip — no bundling, no size limits, no waiting for the next pickup day.
Hedge Trimmings & Bush Clippings
Ficus hedges, clusia, podocarpus, bougainvillea, ixora — South Florida hedges grow aggressively and need frequent cutting. A single hedge trimming session on a property with a long ficus privacy hedge can produce multiple cubic yards of clippings. If your landscaper doesn’t haul debris or if you did the trimming yourself, we’ll pick up the pile and take it to the green waste facility.
Tree Branches & Limbs
Branches from tree trimming, fallen limbs from storms, and sectioned-up trunk pieces from tree removals. If a tree company took down a tree but left the debris, or if you trimmed branches yourself and now have a pile you can’t get rid of, we’ll load it all. Our dump trailer handles heavy green wood — even wet trunk sections that weigh several hundred pounds each. We don’t do the tree cutting, but we’ll take everything the tree crew leaves behind.
General Green Waste & Landscape Debris
Grass clippings from lot clearing, old sod being ripped out, pulled weeds, dead plants, landscape fabric, old mulch being replaced, and anything else that comes out of the ground during a yard renovation or cleanup. If you’re tearing out an existing landscape to start fresh, or if a property has been neglected and the vegetation has taken over, we haul the entire mass of green waste out so the new work can begin on a clean slate.
Storm Prep & Post-Storm Cleanup
Before hurricane season: Dead palm fronds, hanging branches, overgrown hedges, and loose yard debris all become projectiles in high winds. Every year, property owners across Palm Beach County scramble to get their yards cleared before the first named storm makes its approach. Don’t wait for the last minute — schedule a pre-season yard cleanup and we’ll haul away everything that could become a hazard during a storm. This is also when HOAs tend to issue violation notices for overgrown lots and accumulated debris.
After a storm: Even a moderate tropical storm or strong thunderstorm line can leave every property in the county buried under fallen palm fronds, broken branches, and uprooted vegetation. When the regular yard waste pickup schedule is overwhelmed and the pile at the curb just keeps growing, we come in with the dump trailer and clear the backlog. For major storm events with downed trees, fence damage, and mixed debris, see our dedicated hurricane debris removal page.
Ongoing seasonal maintenance: Palm Beach County doesn’t have a dormant season — everything grows 12 months a year. If you’re a property manager, a landlord, or a homeowner who just wants the yard waste handled on a regular basis without relying on curbside pickup limits, call us. We can set up periodic pickups to keep your property clear year-round.
How Pricing Works
Yard waste removal is priced by the load — based on the volume of debris and how much space it takes up in the trailer. A small pile of palm fronds from one tree costs less than clearing an entire overgrown lot. Yard waste is bulky but usually lighter than construction debris or furniture, so most residential pickups fit in a single load.
Send us a couple of photos showing the pile or the area that needs clearing and we’ll give you a price — usually over the phone or via text within the hour. For larger properties, overgrown lots, or post-storm situations where the volume is hard to estimate from photos, we’ll do a quick drive-by or on-site look. Price is always confirmed before we start working.
Yard Waste Removal FAQ
Do I need to pile everything at the curb?
No. We’ll load yard waste from wherever it sits — the backyard, the side yard, behind the garage, along the fence line. If you’ve already piled it at the curb, that works too and makes the job faster. But unlike municipal pickup, we don’t require you to drag everything out front, bundle it, or keep it under a certain length. We come to wherever the debris is and load it from there.
Do you do the actual trimming or tree cutting?
No. We’re a hauling service, not a tree service or landscaper. We remove the debris after the cutting is done — whether you did it yourself, your landscaper did it, or a tree company did the work and left the debris behind. If you need a tree trimmer or landscaper, ask and we can recommend someone local.
Can you pick up today?
In many cases, yes. Same-day yard waste pickup is available when the schedule allows. Call in the morning for the best chance at a same-day slot. Yard waste jobs are typically quick — load and go — so we can often fit them between other scheduled work.
What about mixed loads with yard waste and other junk?
We handle mixed loads all the time. If you’re cleaning out a yard and there’s a pile of palm fronds next to a broken patio set, some old landscape edging, a rusted grill, and a couple of bags of trash, it all goes in the same trailer. We sort what needs to go to the green waste facility versus the solid waste facility on our end — you don’t need to separate anything.
Do you handle large lot clearing?
We handle the debris hauling portion of lot clearing — not the initial land clearing, grading, or heavy equipment work. If a land clearing crew or landscaper clears vegetation from a lot and leaves piles of brush, stumps, and green waste, we haul it all to the disposal facility. For large lots out in Loxahatchee, Acreage, or the western communities, this can mean multiple trailer loads over the course of a day or two. We’ll quote the full scope upfront.
