General

What services does On-Call Hauler provide?

We provide three core services across Palm Beach County: junk removal (residential and commercial pickup of furniture, appliances, yard waste, household junk, estate cleanouts, and more), light demolition (shed, deck, and fence teardown, concrete removal, kitchen and bathroom demo, flooring removal), and landscape material delivery (mulch, topsoil, rock, gravel, sand, fill dirt, pavers, and hardscape materials delivered by the dump trailer load).

Is On-Call Hauler veteran-owned?

Yes. On-Call Hauler is veteran-owned and operated. The discipline, accountability, and work ethic that come from military service are the foundation of how we run this business — show up when we say we will, do the job right, leave the site clean, and charge a fair price.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are fully insured and operate in compliance with all applicable local and state requirements. We carry general liability insurance to protect your property during every job. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

What equipment do you use?

We operate a 2016 Toyota Tundra with a 7×12 dump trailer rated at 3 tons (6,000 lbs). For demolition work we use electric demolition hammers, reciprocating saws, pry bars, sledgehammers, and hand tools. This setup handles the vast majority of residential hauling, delivery, and light demolition jobs in Palm Beach County.

Junk Removal

What items do you pick up?

We haul most residential and commercial items including furniture (couches, mattresses, dressers, desks, tables), appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, AC units), electronics, yard waste (palm fronds, branches, hedge trimmings, green waste), household junk, garage cleanout items, construction debris, and more. For a full list of what we handle, check out our junk removal services page.

What items don’t you accept?

We cannot haul hazardous materials including paint, solvents, chemicals, pesticides, asbestos, medical waste, or biohazardous materials. We also do not haul propane tanks (full or empty), ammunition, or any items that require specialized environmental handling. If you’re unsure whether we can take something, call us and we’ll let you know.

Do I have to put items at the curb?

No. We load from wherever the items are — inside the house, backyard, garage, side yard, storage unit, or wherever else they happen to be. Curbside pickup is also available and is the fastest option, but we don’t require it. Point to what goes and we handle the rest.

Do you do estate cleanouts and foreclosure cleanouts?

Yes. We handle full property cleanouts for estates, foreclosures, rental turnovers, and pre-sale renovations. That includes removing all contents — furniture, personal belongings, appliances, garage items, outdoor items — and leaving the property broom-clean. See our foreclosure and estate cleanout page for details.

Can you remove a hot tub?

Yes. We disassemble and haul away hot tubs and spas, including the electrical disconnect stub (you’ll need a licensed electrician to disconnect the wiring first). We also remove the concrete pad underneath if you want the full footprint cleared. More details on our hot tub and spa removal page.

Light Demolition

What does light demolition include?

Light demolition covers the teardown and removal of non-structural, non-load-bearing elements. That includes sheds, decks, fences, pergolas, and playhouses, concrete patios, walkways, slabs, and footings, kitchen and bathroom gut-outs (cabinets, countertops, tile, fixtures), and flooring removal (tile, carpet, vinyl, hardwood). Every demo job includes the haul-away and disposal of all debris.

Do you handle plumbing, electrical, or gas work?

No. We are a demolition and hauling service — not a licensed plumber, electrician, or gas technician. For kitchen and bathroom demos, plumbing supply lines and gas lines need to be shut off or capped by a licensed professional before or during the demo. We demo everything up to the point where the trades take over, and coordinate with your general contractor on the scope and timing.

Do I need a permit for demolition?

In most cases, small accessory structures like sheds, residential fences, and detached decks do not require a demolition permit in Palm Beach County. However, requirements can vary by municipality and HOA, and may differ if the structure is attached to the home or involves utility connections. We recommend checking with your local building department or HOA before scheduling. If a permit is required, that’s the homeowner’s responsibility to obtain prior to demo day.

How much concrete can you remove?

Our dump trailer is rated at 3 tons (6,000 lbs). Standard 4-inch concrete weighs about 50 pounds per square foot, so we can haul approximately 120 square feet of concrete per load. That covers most patios, walkways, shed pads, driveway aprons, and isolated footings in a single trip. Larger projects may require multiple loads — we quote the full scope upfront so you know exactly what’s involved. See our concrete removal page for more detail.

How dusty is tile and flooring removal?

Very dusty. Tile and thinset removal on a concrete slab generates fine cement dust. We seal the work area with plastic sheeting and use dust suppression methods during grinding, but some dust migration is unavoidable with interior demolition. We recommend covering furniture and electronics in adjacent rooms before demo day and planning for a post-demo cleaning of the home.

Landscape Material Delivery

What landscape materials do you deliver?

We deliver mulch and topsoil, rock, stone, and gravel, sand and fill dirt, and pavers and hardscape materials. We pick up from local suppliers across Palm Beach County and deliver directly to your property by the dump trailer load.

How much material does a load hold?

Our 7×12 dump trailer holds approximately 4–5 cubic yards of loose material (mulch, topsoil, gravel) or up to 3 tons (6,000 lbs) by weight — whichever limit is reached first. Lighter materials like mulch are limited by volume. Heavier materials like crushed limerock, river rock, and fill dirt are limited by weight. We’ll help you figure out how much material your project needs and how many loads that translates to.

Do you spread the material or just dump it?

We’re a delivery service — we dump the material where you need it on your property using the hydraulic dump trailer. We can place it in your driveway, along a fence line, next to a garden bed, or wherever the trailer can safely access. Spreading and installation are handled by your landscaper or by you. If you need a recommendation for a landscaper who can spread and install, we can point you in the right direction.

Can you deliver to a backyard, or does it have to be the driveway?

We can dump anywhere the truck and trailer can physically access. Driveways are the most common drop point, but if you have a wide side gate, a rear access road, or a clear path to the backyard, we can often get closer to where the material is needed. Send us a photo of the access point and we’ll confirm whether the trailer can reach it. If not, we dump as close as possible and you or your landscaper wheelbarrow the rest.

Do you sell the materials, or just deliver?

We pick up materials from local suppliers (landscape supply yards, quarries, nurseries) and deliver them to your property. The material cost is separate from the delivery fee. You can either purchase the material yourself and have us pick it up, or we can handle the entire order — source the material, pick it up, and deliver it — so you don’t have to make a trip to the yard. Either way, you know exactly what you’re paying for the material and what you’re paying for the delivery.

Scheduling & Pricing

Do you offer same-day service?

Yes, in many cases. Our scheduled service hours are Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 6 PM. If you call in the morning, we can often fit your job in the same day — especially for straightforward junk removal and hauling jobs. Same-day and emergency service is also available 24/7 for urgent situations like post-storm debris or time-sensitive property cleanouts. Call us at (561) 621-1492 to check availability.

How do you price your services?

Pricing depends on the service. Junk removal is priced by volume — how much space your items take up in the trailer. Light demolition is priced by scope — the size of the structure, the materials involved, and the labor required. Material delivery is priced per load, with the material cost and the delivery fee quoted separately. In every case, we give you a firm quote before we start and the price doesn’t change once work begins.

How do I get a quote?

The fastest way is to call us at (561) 621-1492 or text photos to the same number. For most jobs, photos of the items or the work area are all we need to give you a firm price — usually within an hour. For larger projects (full property cleanouts, demolition, multi-load material deliveries), we may do a quick drive-by or on-site look to confirm the scope. You can also reach us through our contact page.

Do you charge extra for heavy items?

Our pricing is based on the overall scope of the job, including how much space the items take up and how much labor is involved. Extremely heavy items — like a cast iron bathtub, a concrete slab, or a loaded hot tub — require more labor and may affect how much we can haul per load. We factor that into the quote upfront so there are no surprises.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, Zelle, Venmo, and Apple Pay. Payment is collected upon completion of the job — not before. For larger multi-day projects (full property cleanouts, multi-room demolition), we may structure payments in stages and will outline that in the quote.

Service Area

Where do you provide service?

We serve all of Palm Beach County, including West Palm Beach, Royal Palm Beach, Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, Lake Worth Beach, Loxahatchee, and The Acreage. We also serve Palm Beach Island, Singer Island, and Jupiter Island. See our full service area map and city pages for details.

Do you service condos and high-rises?

Yes. We work in condos, townhomes, and high-rise buildings across Palm Beach County — including buildings on Singer Island and Palm Beach Island. We’re familiar with the building requirements that come with condo work: scheduling freight elevator access, using service entrances, protecting common areas during the move, and working within the time windows your building management requires. We coordinate directly with your building management or HOA to make sure everything is handled properly.

Do you serve areas outside Palm Beach County?

Our primary service area is Palm Beach County. For jobs in northern Broward County or southern Martin County that are close to the county line, call us and we’ll let you know if we can accommodate the location. Availability for out-of-county jobs depends on the scope, the distance, and our schedule.
