What We Tear Out & Haul Away

South Florida homes take a beating — salt air, humidity, hurricanes, and decades of wear. When it’s time to renovate, the old stuff has to come out before the new stuff goes in. That’s where we come in. We handle the grunt work of ripping out, breaking down, and hauling off the materials your contractor or remodel project doesn’t need anymore.

Interior Tear-Outs

Kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, countertops, backsplash tile, tub surrounds, and interior wall sections. Most Palm Beach County remodels start with a gut — we do the teardown so your installer or GC can walk into a clean, prepped space.

Flooring & Tile Removal

Ceramic tile, porcelain, terrazzo, laminate, hardwood, vinyl, and carpet. Tile-on-concrete is the most common flooring scenario in South Florida homes, and it’s heavy, dusty work. We break it up, bag it, load it, and haul it to the appropriate facility.

Outdoor Structures

Sheds, decks, pergolas, fences (wood, vinyl, chain-link), screen enclosures, and small outbuildings. If it’s freestanding and non-load-bearing, we can take it apart and haul the debris. Most backyard structures in Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, and the Acreage communities can be down and gone in a single visit.

Concrete & Hardscape

Patio slabs, sidewalk sections, driveway aprons, small retaining walls, and cracked pool decks. We break out concrete up to 6 inches thick and haul the material in our dump trailer. For larger structural concrete or load-bearing walls, we’ll refer you to a licensed demolition contractor.

What we don’t do: load-bearing wall removal, structural demolition, asbestos abatement, mold remediation, or full-building demolition. We focus on interior renovation tear-outs, outdoor structures, and surface-level concrete. If your project falls outside that scope, we’re happy to point you in the right direction.

Our Light Demolition Services

Whether you’re a homeowner tackling a renovation or a contractor who needs reliable demo and debris removal, we’ve got a service that fits.

Shed, Deck & Fence Removal

Rotted wood decks, rusted chain-link, leaning vinyl fences, and weathered storage sheds — we take them apart piece by piece and haul every nail, board, and post. Common in Wellington equestrian properties, Acreage lots, and older Palm Beach Gardens neighborhoods where outdoor structures have hit the end of their lifespan.

Light Demolition FAQ

What’s the difference between light demolition and full demolition?

Light demolition covers non-structural removal work — tearing out flooring, cabinets, fences, sheds, patios, and other materials that don’t affect the structural integrity of a building. Full or structural demolition involves load-bearing walls, foundations, and entire building teardowns, which requires specialized heavy equipment and different licensing. We focus exclusively on light demo and debris hauling.

How much does light demolition cost in Palm Beach County?

Light demo pricing depends on the scope, material type, and accessibility. Concrete breakout is typically priced per square foot due to the weight involved. We quote every job individually with a flat-rate price that includes demo, loading, hauling, and disposal — no hourly billing. Contact us for a free estimate.

Do I need a permit for light demolition in Palm Beach County?

It depends on the scope. Most interior tear-outs like cabinet removal, flooring demolition, and fixture removal don’t require a separate demo permit in Palm Beach County. However, if the work is part of a larger renovation that involves plumbing, electrical, or structural changes, your general contractor will typically pull the necessary permits. Outdoor structure removal (sheds, fences, decks) usually doesn’t require a permit unless it’s within a setback or easement. When in doubt, check with your local building department — we’re happy to help point you in the right direction.

Can you work alongside my general contractor?

Absolutely — this is one of the most common ways we work. Contractors bring us in to handle the demo phase and debris removal so their crew can focus on the skilled trades work. We show up when your GC needs us, tear out what’s marked, haul the debris, and clear out so the next phase can start. We’re flexible on scheduling and can work around your project timeline.

Do you remove tile from concrete slab floors?

Yes — tile-on-slab removal is one of our most frequently requested services. Most homes in Palm Beach County are built on concrete slabs with tile flooring set directly on top. We use electric chipping hammers to break up the tile, scrape remaining thinset from the slab surface, and haul all the debris. It’s heavy, dusty work — but that’s exactly what we’re set up for. See our flooring and tile removal page for more details.

Where does the demolition debris go?

We take all demo debris to licensed disposal and recycling facilities in Palm Beach County. Concrete, metal, and wood are separated for recycling where possible. We don’t dump illegally or cut corners on disposal. Our DOT registration and commercial insurance cover the transportation and proper handling of construction and demolition waste.
