What Can You Set at the Curb?
If you can get it to the curb or driveway edge, we’ll pick it up. Here are the most common curbside pickup items across Palm Beach County.
Furniture
Couches, recliners, loveseats, dining tables, chairs, desks, dressers, bed frames, headboards, bookshelves, entertainment centers, and patio furniture. One of the most common pickups across West Palm Beach and Royal Palm Beach — especially after moves and remodels.
Appliances
Refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, and window AC units. Palm Beach County doesn’t offer free curbside appliance pickup through municipal waste — so if your utility company won’t take it, we will. Freon-containing units accepted.
Mattresses & Box Springs
Twin, full, queen, king — any size. Mattresses are one of the hardest items to get rid of in South Florida. Most donation centers won’t take them, your regular trash pickup won’t grab them, and the dump charges a surcharge. We take them, no hassle.
Electronics & TVs
Flat-screen TVs, monitors, old CRT televisions, desktop computers, printers, and other e-waste. We make sure electronics are routed to appropriate recycling or disposal facilities — not just tossed in a landfill.
Exercise Equipment
Treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, weight benches, and home gyms. These are bulky and heavy — the kind of items that sit in your garage for months because you can’t figure out how to get rid of them. Place it at the curb and we’ll take care of it.
Yard Waste & Small Debris
Bagged yard debris, small brush piles, broken fencing, old grills, kids’ play equipment, and general household junk. If it fits at the curb and isn’t hazardous, there’s a good chance we’ll pick it up. Not sure? Send us a photo and we’ll confirm.
What we don’t accept curbside: hazardous waste, chemicals, paint, tires, medical waste, and construction debris (for construction waste, see our light demolition service). Everything else is fair game.

How to Stage Your Curbside Pickup
A smooth pickup starts with proper staging. Follow these steps so we can grab your items quickly and keep your pickup cost as low as possible.
Place Items at the Curb
Move items to your curb, driveway apron, or the edge of your property before your scheduled pickup window. The closer to the street, the faster we can load. For apartments and condos, coordinate a spot near the loading zone or parking area.
Keep It Accessible
Don’t block the item with cars, trash bins, or landscaping. Make sure we can back the trailer up close. If you live in a gated community — common throughout Wellington, PBG, and Jupiter — leave gate instructions or a code in your booking notes so we’re not stuck outside.
Bag or Bundle Loose Items
If you’re getting rid of multiple small items — toys, household clutter, bags of clothes — bundle them together or put them in heavy-duty trash bags. Loose items scattered across the curb take longer to load, and we want to keep your cost down.
We Handle the Rest
We arrive during your scheduled window, load everything into the dump trailer, and haul it off. You’ll get a text confirmation when the pickup is complete. If you’re home, great. If not, no problem — most curbside customers aren’t home during the pickup.
Why Curbside Pickup Instead of a Dumpster or the Dump?
If you only have one or two items to get rid of, renting a dumpster is overkill and driving to the Solid Waste Authority transfer station on North Jog Road takes half a Saturday — plus you still need a truck. Our curbside pickup exists for exactly this situation: you have something you want gone, and you want it gone fast without renting anything or borrowing a truck.
It’s also worth knowing that Palm Beach County’s municipal bulk waste pickup has a limited schedule and specific rules about what they’ll take. Many residents in West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, and Boynton Beach find out the hard way that their city bulk pickup skipped an item because it didn’t meet the size, weight, or material requirements. With On-Call Hauler, there’s no guessing — book it, leave it at the curb, we grab it.

Curbside Pickup FAQ
How much does curbside junk pickup cost?
Curbside pickup starts at $90 for a single item. Pricing varies by item type, size, and weight. Use the booking form on this page to select your items and see your exact price before you commit — no surprises.
Do I need to be home for the pickup?
No. That’s one of the biggest advantages of curbside pickup. As long as your item is placed at the curb or driveway edge before your scheduled pickup window, we’ll grab it whether you’re home or not. You’ll receive a text confirmation when the pickup is complete.
How fast can you pick up my item?
Same-day and next-day pickups are available depending on our schedule and your location in Palm Beach County. When you book through the form on this page, you’ll see available pickup windows. Most pickups happen within 24 hours of booking.
What if my item is too heavy to move to the curb?
If you can’t get the item to the curb yourself, no problem — we offer full-service junk removal where we come inside and carry the item out for you. That’s a different service with different pricing. Check out our furniture and appliance removal page or call us at (561) 621-1492 for a quote.
What happens to my items after pickup?
We sort items after pickup. Anything in usable condition gets routed to local donation centers or resale outlets. Recyclable materials like metal, wood, and electronics go to appropriate facilities. The rest is disposed of at licensed Palm Beach County waste facilities. We never dump illegally.
Is this cheaper than renting a dumpster?
For 1–3 items, almost always yes. Dumpster rentals in Palm Beach County typically start at $250–$400 for the smallest size, plus you’re stuck with it for days. Curbside pickup starts at $90 for a single item and you don’t have to rent anything, load it yourself, or wait for a pickup window. For larger cleanouts, a dumpster might make more sense — but for quick single-item removal, curbside can’t be beat.
Do you pick up from apartments and condos?
Yes. For apartments and condos, we just need a designated pickup spot — usually near the building entrance, loading zone, or dumpster area. Include the specific location in your booking notes. Gated communities are no problem either — just leave the gate code or visitor instructions when you book.
Why doesn’t my city bulk pickup take my items?
Municipal bulk waste programs in Palm Beach County have specific rules about item types, sizes, and collection schedules. Many cities only do bulk pickup on a set schedule (biweekly or monthly), won’t take appliances with Freon, and have weight limits. Items that don’t meet the criteria get left behind. Our curbside pickup has no waiting period, no restrictions on appliance type, and we pick up on your schedule — not the city’s.
