The cabinets, the countertops, the backsplash tile, the flooring, the fixtures — all of it needs to come out before the new work can begin. We handle the selective demolition and haul every piece of debris away so your renovation crew walks into a clean, gutted space ready for build-out.

For contractors: If you’re a GC, remodeler, or renovation company and need a reliable demo crew to clear the space before your team starts, we work on your schedule. Same standards, every job. Call us to set up a vendor relationship.

Kitchen Demolition

Kitchen renovations are the most common remodeling project in Palm Beach County, and every one of them starts the same way — the old kitchen has to come out first. We tear out the components you’re replacing and haul every piece of debris off-site so the space is clean and ready for your contractor’s build-out.

What we rip out:

Upper and lower cabinets, countertops (granite, quartz, laminate, butcher block, concrete), backsplash tile, kitchen islands, pantry shelving, soffits above cabinets, kitchen flooring (tile, vinyl, hardwood — see our flooring removal page for full-house flooring jobs), and any non-load-bearing partition walls that are being opened up as part of the renovation. We also remove old appliances as part of the demo scope — refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, range hoods, and anything else that’s coming out.

What we leave in place:

Plumbing supply and drain lines, gas lines, electrical wiring, and load-bearing walls. We don’t do plumbing, gas, or electrical work — those need a licensed professional. We demo up to the point where the trades take over. If your renovation plan includes moving the sink, relocating gas for the range, or adding circuits, your plumber and electrician handle those connections after we’ve cleared the space. We coordinate with your GC to make sure the demo scope matches the renovation plan.

Bathroom Demolition

Bathroom remodels are the second most common renovation project in the county — and they’re often more labor-intensive per square foot than kitchens because of the amount of tile, the tight working spaces, and the heavy fixtures involved. We gut the bathroom down to the studs and subfloor so your renovation team has a clean starting point.

What we rip out:

Vanity cabinets and countertops, wall tile and floor tile (including thinset and backer board), bathtubs (cast iron, fiberglass, acrylic), shower surrounds and glass enclosures, shower pans, toilets, medicine cabinets, mirrors, linen closets, and non-load-bearing partition walls. If the bathroom has a built-in bench, a soaking tub, or a large tiled shower with a curb and niche, all of that comes out as part of the demo scope.

What we leave in place:

Supply lines, drain lines, vent stacks, and electrical wiring. Same rule as kitchens — we demo everything up to the point where the licensed trades take over. Your plumber handles the shut-off valves, drain connections, and toilet flange. Your electrician handles the wiring for new fixtures, exhaust fans, and GFCI outlets. We clear the space so they can work efficiently.

For Contractors & Remodelers

If you’re a general contractor, remodeling company, or renovation specialist working in Palm Beach County, you know that the demo phase sets the tone for the entire project. If the demo crew leaves debris, damages surfaces that are supposed to stay, or takes too long, it pushes your whole timeline back. We provide consistent, professional demo work that gives your installation crew a clean starting point — every time.

How we work with GCs: You send us the scope — what’s coming out, what’s staying, and when you need it done. We show up on schedule, demo to your specifications, haul all debris off-site the same day, and leave the space swept and ready for your team. If you need photos for documentation, we provide them. If your client wants to be present for the demo walk-through, we accommodate that.

Recurring vendor relationship: If you run multiple renovation projects across Palm Beach County and need a reliable demo and haul-away crew you can count on for every job, we set up a standing relationship. Consistent pricing, priority scheduling, and a crew that already knows your standards. One call, one invoice, one less vendor to manage.

The Renovation Involves More Than Just the Kitchen or Bath?

Many renovations extend beyond a single room. If the project also includes flooring throughout the house, tearing out a deck, or a full property cleanout before the remodel starts, we bundle it into one scope and one quote.

Kitchen & Bathroom Demolition FAQ

How much does kitchen or bathroom demolition cost?

Pricing depends on the size of the space, the materials being removed (granite countertops and tile take more labor than laminate and vinyl), the number of rooms, and the overall scope. A single bathroom gut-out is a different job than a full kitchen with an island, pantry, and soffit removal. Send us photos or have your contractor send us the demo scope and we’ll quote it — price always includes the demolition, debris loading, haul-away, and disposal.

Do you disconnect plumbing and electrical?

No. Plumbing, gas, and electrical disconnection must be done by a licensed professional before or during the demo process. For kitchens, we need the gas line to the range capped and the water supply to the dishwasher and sink shut off. For bathrooms, we need the water supply shut off to the toilet, vanity, and shower or tub. Your plumber or GC typically handles these shut-offs either before we arrive or coordinates with us on-site.

Can you remove tile from walls and floors?

Yes. We remove ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile from walls and floors, including the thinset adhesive and backer board (cement board or Hardie board) underneath. Tile removal is one of the most labor-intensive parts of a bathroom demo — especially in showers where tile is installed over a waterproof membrane on cement board over the framing. We take it all down to the studs and subfloor.

Will the demolition create a lot of dust?

Yes — tile and thinset removal generates significant dust. We contain the work area as much as possible using plastic sheeting to seal doorways and prevent dust from spreading to the rest of the home. However, interior demolition is inherently dusty work, and some dust migration is unavoidable. We recommend covering furniture and electronics in adjacent rooms before demo day, and plan for a thorough cleaning of the home after the demo is complete.

How long does a kitchen or bathroom demo take?

A standard bathroom demo (vanity, toilet, tub or shower, wall and floor tile) typically takes one day. A full kitchen demo (cabinets, countertops, backsplash, flooring, island, appliance removal) takes one to two days depending on size and complexity. If the scope includes multiple bathrooms or both the kitchen and bathrooms, we’ll provide a timeline with the quote so your contractor can plan the build-out schedule accordingly.

Can I keep some things and have you remove the rest?

Absolutely. This is called selective demolition and it’s what we do most often. Maybe you’re keeping the existing layout but replacing the cabinets and countertops. Or keeping the tub but replacing everything else in the bathroom. Walk us through what stays and what goes — either in person, with marked-up photos, or through your contractor — and we demo only what’s on the removal list. If anything is unclear, we confirm before swinging a hammer.
