Furniture & Appliance Removal in Palm Beach County

The old couch won’t fit through the door. The refrigerator died and the new one arrives tomorrow. The bedroom set from the guest room has been sitting there for three years waiting for someone to deal with it. We pick up furniture, appliances, and bulky household items from inside your home — not just the curb — and haul them away the same day in most cases.

Already got your items at the curb? Check out our curbside pickup service for a lower-cost option — you haul it to the curb, we load it and go.

Furniture We Pick Up

We carry it out of your home, load it into our trailer, and haul it away. No need to drag anything to the curb or disassemble it yourself — that’s our job.

Living Room & Bedroom

Couches, sectionals, loveseats, recliners, mattresses, box springs, bed frames, headboards, dressers, nightstands, desks, bookshelves, entertainment centers, TV stands, coffee tables, end tables, dining tables, chairs, china cabinets, and armoires. If it’s furniture and it needs to go, we take it.

Outdoor & Patio

Patio furniture sets, outdoor dining tables, lounge chairs, umbrellas, grills, smokers, outdoor rugs, planter pots, broken pool furniture, and weathered tiki bars. South Florida sun and salt air destroy outdoor furniture faster than anywhere else — if it’s faded, rusted, cracked, or falling apart, we’ll haul it away so you can start fresh.

Exercise & Specialty Items

Treadmills, ellipticals, weight benches, exercise bikes, home gym equipment, pool tables, pianos (upright only — grands require specialty movers), gun safes, and other heavy or awkward items that most people can’t move alone. These items are too heavy for regular trash pickup and too bulky to get out of the house without someone who knows how to maneuver them through doorways and down hallways.

Appliances We Remove

We remove refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, ovens, range hoods, microwaves, window and portable AC units, water heaters, water softeners, and dehumidifiers. If it plugs in or hooks up to a water line and it needs to go, we take it.

Appliances should be disconnected before we arrive. We don’t disconnect gas lines, water lines, or hardwired electrical connections — that work should be done by a licensed plumber or electrician. If the appliance is simply plugged into a wall outlet, we’ll unplug it ourselves. Once it’s disconnected, we carry it out and load it into the trailer regardless of where it sits in the house — garage, kitchen, laundry room, second floor, wherever.

Refrigerant-containing appliances are disposed of properly. Refrigerators, freezers, and AC units contain refrigerant that must be recovered before disposal — we take these to certified recycling facilities that handle the refrigerant recovery process in compliance with EPA regulations. This is included in our pricing, not an add-on.

How Pricing Works

We price furniture and appliance removal by the load — based on how much space your items take up in the trailer, not by the item count or the hour. A single couch takes up less trailer space than a full bedroom set, so it costs less. A refrigerator and a washer/dryer set together cost less than a whole house worth of furniture. You get a price before we start — always.

For a quick phone quote: Tell us what items you need removed, send a few photos, and we’ll give you a price over the phone or via text in most cases. For larger jobs — multiple rooms of furniture, a full garage cleanout, or a mix of furniture, appliances, and miscellaneous items — we’ll do a quick on-site walk-through to give you an accurate quote.

Want the lower-cost option? If you can get your items to the curb yourself, our curbside pickup service lets you skip the in-home labor portion — we pull up, load from the curb, and go. It’s a straightforward way to save on removal costs when the items are already outside. Need more than just furniture and appliances removed? Check out our whole house and garage cleanouts for full-property clearing.

Where Your Stuff Goes

We don’t just dump everything in a landfill. Items in good, usable condition — clean furniture, working appliances, functional electronics — get dropped at local donation centers when possible. Donation centers in Palm Beach County have their own acceptance standards and some items don’t qualify, but we make a reasonable effort to divert reusable items from the waste stream.

Items that aren’t in donatable condition go to the appropriate disposal facility — solid waste transfer stations for general items, certified recyclers for appliances with refrigerant and electronics, and metal recyclers for scrap metal. We handle the sorting and the disposal logistics so you don’t have to figure out where different items need to go.

Furniture & Appliance Removal FAQ

Can you pick up today?

In many cases, yes. Same-day pickup is available when the schedule allows — especially for smaller jobs like a single couch, a mattress, or an appliance swap. Call in the morning for the best chance at a same-day slot. For larger jobs or specific time windows, scheduling 24–48 hours ahead guarantees your spot.

Do you carry furniture out of the house or do I need to bring it outside?

We carry it out. That’s the difference between our full-service removal and our curbside pickup option. Point to the items inside your home and we’ll carry them out through doors, down hallways, down stairs, and into the trailer. You don’t need to move anything yourself. If you’ve already got items at the curb, ask about our curbside pickup rate instead — it’s a lower-cost option since the in-home labor is already done.

Do I need to disconnect appliances before you arrive?

If the appliance is connected to a gas line, water line, or hardwired electrical connection, yes — have a licensed plumber or electrician disconnect it before our arrival. If it’s simply plugged into a wall outlet, we’ll unplug it ourselves. We don’t perform any plumbing, gas, or electrical disconnection work.

Can you remove a mattress?

Yes. Mattresses and box springs are one of our most common pickup items. We remove all sizes — twin, full, queen, king, California king — and can take the bed frame and headboard at the same time. Mattresses are bulky, awkward, and most trash services won’t take them curbside. We carry them out and haul them to the appropriate disposal facility.

Will you donate my furniture if it’s still in good condition?

We make a reasonable effort to drop off usable items at local donation centers when the condition warrants it. Clean, functional furniture and working appliances are the most likely to be accepted. Stained mattresses, broken furniture, and non-working appliances don’t qualify for donation and go to disposal facilities. If donating specific items is important to you, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Can you remove items from a second floor or upstairs condo?

Yes. We carry items down stairs, through narrow hallways, and out of upper-floor units. For condo buildings with elevator access, we coordinate with building management on service elevator use and loading dock scheduling — especially on Singer Island and Palm Beach Island where building rules are strict. Let us know if there are access restrictions or building requirements so we can plan accordingly.
